A Leap Of Faith

I flirt around the edges,

Draw fantasies upon the fabric,

In the corners,

On wet windowledges.

Focusing upon the extraneous,

My fancies are deceiving,

I find myself believing,

The mordant arc of dying notions.

Once leapt,

Just one more has me salivating.

The first too extravagant,

And the second less exuberant,

Than it is important,

To my self and those notions,

Of who i am,

And where i should be.
