Perspective Now In Winter

Some deep lustrous wind,

Pregnant, doubled up with enigma,

Sweeps the hardworn sweat,

From one corner of my brow,

To another.

To sleep abreast of danger,

When the Summer heat resides,

Underneath my hungry belly,

Depreciates outstanding dues,

That are yet to be paid,

Come the gnarled months in Winter.
